Quality Physical Education

Providing adapted sports equipment and facilities to promote Quality Physical Education:
To engage students in moderate-to-vigorous physical activity at least 50% of physical education
class time

Inclusive Physical Activity

To organize IPA training classes in schools: 3 months, 3 lessons a week with a total of 36 lessons. 60 minutes per class

Target:Increase the physical activity levels of school children, reduce sedentary behavior, in order to achieve the World Health Organization’s recommendation, which is to accumulate at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA60) each day on average per week, and limit sedentary time, especially recreational screen time.

To provide a Polar Pacer, students will be instructed to monitor physical activity level by their own.

Teachers’ Professional Development

To organize workshops that focus on integration of theory and practice in inclusive physical activity and adapted sports.

To provide online courses that are endorsed by local and overseas professionals and experts. Teachers can receive certification that is endorsed by local and overseas IPA organizations.

Parents’ Capability Building

To provide a set of loose IPA equipment, assist their children to meet the daily World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations

Organize workshops and parent-child activities to enhance more physical exercise and reduce sedentary behavior.

To provide online resources including videos and websites, assist in parent-child activities.
